Matthew Allen
Project Manager
Matthew started his career at MCG in 2007. He began working with his dad wiring and renovating houses then transitioned to the HVAC field. Matthew has been a part of every facet of HVAC construction from warehousing and delivery, service and maintenance, design, and project management.
Born, raised, and currently residing in Anderson, SC, Matthew has one sister. His mother is a former MCG employee, and his father is a retired lineman for the local power company. His grandparents, also long-time Anderson residents, worked in the former textile mills and had a house moving business. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys farming and gardening, working on houses, enjoying Lake Hartwell, and being active in his community. He is an active member in his local church, a Master Mason and a Hejaz Shriner.
Kevin Alewine
Project Manager
Kevin began working at MCG in 2022, currently as a project manager. He’s been in the industry for 15 years both in the field, at supply houses, and as a salesman.
Married to his wife, Jennifer, for over 20 years, they have a son, a daughter, and 2 grandsons. Kevin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, taking his grandsons fishing, riding his motorcycle, and grilling.
Seth Ashworth
Project Manager
Seth began working at MCG in 2019 after ending his 20+ year career as a heavy equipment operator. During his time with MCG Seth has worked on many different tasks before becoming a project manager. Along with the responsibilities that come with being a project manager he also makes sure that all employees are trained and certified in operating the equipment used at MCG.
Seth is from Anderson, SC where he lives with my family. He has been married to his wife, Libby, for 20 years and they have two daughters, Rylee and Paislee. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and almost anything outdoors.
BJ Beggs
Project Manager
BJ began at MCG as a project manager in 2025. He currently handles changing out systems but has over 13 years of experience in the HVAC industry including installing, maintenance, service, and sales.
Married for 16 years, BJ is the father of 5 sons and has 2 granddaughters. He lives in Winder, GA and in his spare time he enjoys taking care of his farm. BJ is very active ultra runner who also likes to hike, hunt, and fish.
Isabel Bocanegra
Accounts Payable
Isabel started with MCG in 2024. She enjoys the challenges and variety that come with working in accounting. Her previous experience includes retail management and non-profit advocacy.
When not working, Isabel can be found spending time with her energetic son and their dog, Stella. Isabel likes to relax and recharge by hiking to waterfalls, kayaking, and visiting the mountains.
Bailey Bomar
Estimator
Bailey has been with MCG since 2020. He primarily serves as an estimator, focusing on business development and preparing competitive pricing for our building partners. He attended Clemson University, where he studied Financial Management.
Originally from Easley, SC, Bailey now lives in Anderson with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys camping, traveling, and reading.
Karen Goller
Reception and Administrative Support
Karen started working at MCG in 2019. This is her first time working in the HVAC field but she enjoys learning about the industry. Prior to working at MCG, Karen worked in customer service and has over 35 years of experience.
A life-long resident of Anderson, SC, Karen has been married to Steve for over 20 years. She has 2 stepdaughters and a granddaughter, as well as a dog, Leia. When not working, Karen enjoys traveling to Texas and Virginia to visit family. She also loves watching murder/mystery shows on television. Her favorite thing is being home close to family and friends.
Brian Hamby
Warehouse Manager
Brian has been the warehouse manager at MCG since 2014, but he’s been in the HVAC industry in a variety of positions for over 30 years. He brings dedication and enthusiasm to his role where he schedules deliveries, orders materials, and manages the day-to-day activities of the warehouse.
A graduate of Crescent High School, Brian is from Starr, South Carolina. He’s married to his wife Cassady Jo (CJ). Brian enjoys riding motorcycles, fishing, watching sports, and travelling with his wife.
Jason Hamby
Service Manager
Jason began working for MCG in 2016. He worked in wholesale supply for 17 years before transitioning to customer service. He handles all service-related matters for MCG.
From Starr, South Carolina, Jason is married to Megan, and they have a son, Jacob and a daughter, Peyten. He enjoys watching college sports and going to see his son play baseball and watching his daughter play volleyball.
Angelice "AJ" Ingalls
Accounts Payable/Receivable
AJ has been with MCG since 2022 and has been in the accounting field since she was 16 years old. AJ has a BBA in Accounting from University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. After graduating, she worked for UGA and since then has worked in manufacturing, not for profit, hospitality, and in the automotive industry.
From Hartwell, GA, AJ is the eldest of 3 siblings and the proud aunt of multiple nieces. In her free time, she enjoys reading, attending concerts, festivals, and shows as well as taking care of her many fur babies.
Stephanie Ingalls
Accounting and HR Manager
Stephanie joined MCG as office manager in 2014 bringing with her knowledge not only in accounting and payroll but also skills in human resources, policies and procedures, and safety management. She has been in accounting and HR for over 30 years. She previously worked with the YMCA as both membership director and then as associate executive director. Stephanie has also worked as an accountant for a field service and quality control company in addition to owning her own third-party payroll service.
Originally, from Cuba, New York, Stephanie currently lives in Hartwell, Georgia with her husband of over 40 years, Craig. They have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren along with 2 bonus grandchildren. Stephanie has the most fun hanging out with her grandchildren but when time allows, she loves to read and paint.
David Jenkins
Project Manager
David has been with MCG since its inception and in the HVAC industry since 1980. He started in the commercial and industrial mechanical field designing, drafting, and managing projects, while finishing a degree a in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial HVAC from Dekalb Technical College in Atlanta.
Originally from Stone Mountain, Georgia, David now lives in Lavonia. He has spent more than 42 years serving with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys many outdoor activities, including sailing. David has two children, a son and a daughter as well as two grandchildren.
Chad McIntosh
General Manager
Chad began working at MCG in 2013 and has spent over 30 years in the HVAC business. He began his career in the residential market, working in both installation and sales. After 10+ years he moved into commercial and industrial. At MCG, Chad is responsible for general management, overseeing the day-to-day operations, including scheduling and project management.
Chad and his wife Lisa are from Hartwell, Georgia. Lisa is a kindergarten teacher at Hartwell Elementary School and has worked there over 20 years. They have two children, son, Cayden, who graduated from North Georgia Technical College and currently works at MCG and daughter, Kamryn, a softball player at Hart County High School. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, whether it’s at the softball field or travelling for vacation.
David L. Moon
Preconstruction and Estimator
David has been with MCG since 2015 but started his career while still a student at Greenville Technical College where he earned a degree in Climatic Control Technology. David in pre-construction estimating, ordering, scheduling, and other coordination between general and sub-contractors.
A resident of Greenville, South Carolina, David is married to his wife, Marsha and they have two daughters.
Vance Powell
Project Manager
Vance started working for MCG in 2025. He is a project manager with over 14 years of experience in HVAC installation and sales.
He’s from Greer, SC and is married with one son. Vance enjoys playing golf, travelling, cooking, woodworking, sports, and attending University of South Carolina Gamecocks athletic events.
Harold Purdy
Quality Control
Harold has been with MCG for 9 years. He has been in the industry for 39 years. Harold has taken numerous Carrier, Trane, and Daiken training classes. He is certified in Type II Refrigeration and is a Journeyman Mechanic. At MCG, Harold maintains quality control of jobs, scoring them for readiness and quality of work.
Harold is from Iva, South Carolina and is married to Jane. They have a daughter and three grandsons. He enjoys Bible study, fishing, and watching college ball games.
Blake Reid
President and CEO
Blake has been with MCG since 2009 and in the industry for nearly 30 years. He has worked as a general manager, estimator, and engineer. A graduate of Clemson University, Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer, LEED accredited professional, and a license qualifier for MCG.
Born and raised in upstate South Carolina, Blake is married to his wife, Micki, and they have one son, Braxton. In their free time, they enjoy going to Clemson football games, listening to live music, and travelling.
AJ Townley
Estimator
AJ started working at MCG in 2020 but began in the industry in 2013 right out of high school as a residential installer. He has since worked in the service department, as a dispatcher, and now in project management. AJ has associate’s degree in business technology with a specialization in leadership from North Georgia Technical College.
Born and raised in Hartwell, GA, AJ is married to Elizabeth Ann, and they have two children, Harper and Walker. In his spare time, AJ likes to travel, cook, and attend Georgia Bulldog football games. He also likes being outdoors on the lake with his family and bow fishing.
DJ Young
Project Manager
DJ began his career with MCG in 2015 as a temporary employee. He was hired full-time in 2016 and steadily worked his way up through the ranks.
As a project manager, he oversees job sites from start to finish – managing schedules, coordinating crews, handling materials, and communicating with vendors to ensure that every project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Outside of work, DJ is a devoted husband and a father of three. He enjoys working on cars, tackling home projects, and spending time outdoors with his family.
