Brenda Allen
Accounts Receivable and Payable
Brenda has been with MCG for 9 years. She is a life-long resident of Anderson, South Carolina who attended McDuffie High School and Tri-County Technical College.
Brenda is married to Michael and they have two adult children. They enjoy traveling and singing.
Matthew Allen
Designer
Matthew has worked at MCG as an estimator, designer, and project manager since 2009. He has a license from the state of South Carolina in air conditioning, heating, and plumbing. He attends Clemson University and is majoring in mechanical engineering.
Matthew likes playing on the lake, gardening, raising chickens, working in his local church, and being physically active.
Bailey Bomar
Estimator
Bailey began working for MCG in 2020 as an estimator. He had no experience in the HVAC field but he enjoys learning something new every day. He reviews technical drawings, solicits quotes from subcontractors, and submits proposals to general contractors.
A student at Clemson University, Bailey is majoring in financial management with a minor in accounting. In his free time he enjoys camping, hiking, reading nonfiction books, as well as watching college and professional football and basketball.
Jimmy Champion
Project Manager and Estimator, Plumbing Division
Though he’s only been with MCG for 5 years, Jimmy has been in the plumbing industry for 38. He’s been a plumber, foreman, project manager, and estimator working in both North and South Carolina. Jimmy attended Clemson University where he studied industrial engineering.
Jimmy is married to Lisa and has two adult sons. He enjoys spending time with them playing golf and grilling.
Karen Goller
Reception and Administrative
Support
Karen started working at MCG in 2019. This is her first time working in the HVAC/plumbing field but she has over 30 years of customer service and administrative experience.
A life-long resident of Anderson, SC, Karen is married to Steve and they have two dogs, Leia and Yoda. When not working, Karen enjoys spending time with her family.
Brian Hamby
Warehouse Manager
Brian has been the warehouse manager at MCG for 4 years but he’s been in the HVAC industry in a variety of positions for over 30 years.
A graduate of Crescent High School, Brian is from Starr, South Carolina. Brian is an avid outdoorsman who likes hunting, fishing, training dogs, and riding ATVs.
Jason Hamby
Service Manager
Jason has been with MCG for 2 years and has been working in HVAC wholesale supply for 17 years. He handles all service related matters for MCG.
From Starr, South Carolina, Jason is married to Megan and they have a son and daughter. He enjoys watching college sports and going to see his son play baseball and watching his daughter dance.
Freddy Haygood
Field Superintendent
Freddy has been with MCG for 8 years and has held many positions in his long career. He began as a sheet metal mechanic and then moved to job foreman. Having 19 years of field experience, he is currently working as MCG’s field superintendent. Freddy creates daily schedules for all the field employees so that materials and manpower are ready for installation at each jobsite.
Freddy is from Hartwell, Georgia and has 4 children and 4 grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Stephanie Ingalls
Accounting and HR Manager
Stephanie has been with MCG for 4 years. She works with the staff on payroll, benefits, and health insurance administration. Stephanie has over 20 years of accounting experience and has earned various management certifications.
Originally, from Cuba, New York, Stephanie has lived in Hartwell, Georgia since 1983. She and her husband Craig have 3 adult children. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, painting, riding motorcycles with friends, and working around her house.
David Jenkins
Project Manager and Designer
David has been with MCG for 9 years and in the HVAC industry since 1980. David’s career has been extensive and varied, focusing on project management and design. He holds a degree in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial HVAC from Dekalb Technical College in Georgia.
David is originally from Stone Mountain, Georgia. He has spent more than 42 years serving with the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys many outdoor activities, including sailing. David has two children, a son and a daughter as well as two grandchildren.
Chad McIntosh
General Manager
Having been with MCG for 4 years, Chad has spent 25 years in the HVAC business. He spent 13 years in the residential market, working in both installation and sales. The past 12 years, he’s worked in commercial and industrial HVAC in sales, estimating, and general management. At MCG, Chad is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, as well as some sales.
Chad and his wife Lisa are from Hartwell, Georgia. Lisa is a kindergarten teacher at Hartwell Elementary School. They have two children, son, Cayden and daughter, Kamryn. They attend First Baptist Church of Hartwell where they are active in the AWANA program. Camping, watching their children participate in baseball, softball, and karate are some things they enjoy.
David L. Moon
Project Manager
David has been with MCG since 2015 but started his career in 1980 as a draftsman and over the years has worked for mechanical and general contractors as an estimator and project manager. He has a degree in Climatic Control Technology from Greenville Technical College as well as certifications in estimating and AutoCAD. David works as a project manager estimating, ordering, scheduling, and other coordination between general and sub-contractors.
A resident of Greenville, South Carolina, David is married and has two children. When not working he enjoys hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and doing woodwork.
Russell Pearce
Estimator
Russell is an estimator and has been with MCG since 2020. He has 17 years of experience in HVAC as a technician, salesperson, and a manager.
He attended Clemson University and is from Greenwood, SC.
Harold Purdy
Quality Control
Harold has been with MCG for 9 years. He has been in the industry for 39 years. Harold has taken numerous Carrier, Trane, and Daiken training classes. He is certified in Type II Refrigeration and is a Journeyman Mechanic. At MCG, Harold maintains quality control of jobs, scoring them for readiness and quality of work.
Harold is from Iva, South Carolina and is married to Jane. They have a daughter and three grandsons. He enjoys Bible study, fishing, and watching college ball games.
Blake Reid
President and CEO
Blake has been with MCG for 9 years and in the industry for 23 years. He has worked as a general manager, estimator, engineer, and anything else that needs to be done for the company. A graduate of Clemson University, Blake has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer, LEED accredited professional, and a license qualifier for MCG.
Blake is married to Micki and they have one son, Braxton. They enjoy going to Clemson football games and traveling.
AJ Townley
Project Manager
AJ started working at MCG in 2020 as a project manager. He has an associate’s degree in business technology with a specialization in leadership from North Georgia Technical College. He has been working in the HVAC industry since 2013.
A resident of Hartwell, GA, AJ enjoys traveling, duck hunting, bow fishing, and cooking.
